About My Practice

I am a multidisciplinary artist with cultural connections to Gamilaroi Country, working across printmaking, papermaking, jewellery, sculpture and installation.

My practice explores decolonisation, deconstruction and the reclamation of Indigenous knowledge, examining the inherited systems of belief and authority that have shaped how I understand myself, culture and Country.

Through material experimentation, I push and transform processes as acts of resistance and reclamation, centring First Nations knowledge systems and challenging colonial ideologies that have sought to diminish Indigenous ways of being, knowing and doing.

Working particularly with native grasses, I explore knowledge as something living, embodied and enduring, enacting processes of return, regeneration and cultural reclamation for my ancestors and future generations.
